![]() You all need to write to THEM - SONY.The first time you see the scale of some of these creatures really is a sight to behold, not only from the shift to true first-person perspective emphasizing their true size, but with their presence felt further thanks to the haptic feedback felt both in each controller and the headset itself: as you quite literally feel the ground shake with every step as these massive machines pass by. I also created a ticket to PS Support and all they said is "it's a limitation of the headset". There are lots more posts and comments but I don't bother finding it anymore. There are many people reporting the same on PSVR owners Facebook page. I provided this documentation of the bug:Īnother posts, check out my comments and also comments from people reporting the same issue as you., also check our comments from those idiots: All they say is "vignette" or "I'm not reading this". I've created 3 posts and one in /virtualreality sub. not until enough of this blind fanboys have the same issue and then they wake up. You all need to report this bug directly to Sony Support, not on Reddit!ĭon't expect any help here. May still be a placebo but even if it is, I'll take it -) If anything I did see some improved clarity despite the fact that I was INCREDIBLY skeptical of such a claim. :/ Not sure what that means for the theory that the update made anyone's FOV worse. They should at least give the option to maximize it.ĮDIT 2: I was finally able to check for myself today and I didn't notice the vignette effect on any game but COTM (which looks the same to me as before the update). Has anyone else experienced this? Is it a bug? Or is it just a way for them to render fewer pixels and increase performance?ĮDIT: So apparently this is a thing in practically all the games after the firmware update? That’s ridiculous. The vignette doesn't change size at all whether I am moving or standing still. It is as if the game renders a permanent comfort vignette, but not quite as large. But, with COTM, no matter how close I get the headset to my eyes, the FOV is clearly limited by the display itself. ![]() I cannot easily see the edges of the screen, only the edges of the lenses. With other games, with the headset pressed as close to my face as possible, the lenses are what limit my FOV. All other games on this headset use the full 110-degree field of view, but for some reason, COTM does not. ![]() I am an experienced VR user and always make sure to turn off comfort settings. I have had that turned off since I got the headset. Game Discussions Previous AMAs PSVR Dev?
